There is an easy way to remove tie-rod ends (both quads and automotive) without tearing the boots. Heres how: 1) Loosen the nut a lot and leave it on to protect the threads. 2) With a hammer, hit the spindle arm (where the tie-rod end plugs in to) a couple times nice and straight and hard.
